Your safety is our number one priority. As we return to in-person summits, we are
implementing COVID-19 safe protocols. We have devised these protocols in partnership
with the venue, and consultation with guidance from all relevant authorities.
COVID-19 Protocols

We look forward to welcoming you to Food as Medicine: Chicago 2022. We are committed to making this event as Covid safe as possible.
If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 please do not attend Food as Medicine: Chicago 2022 in person.
During the event:

Attendees will be fully vaccinated.

All surfaces will be regularly cleaned.

Sufficient space will be provided to enable social distancing.

Hand sanitizer will be available.

Anyone exhibiting symptoms of Covid-19 infection will not be admitted.

The wearing of face masks is mandatory in indoor public spaces.
Entry to the event
In order to attend the event, you must provide proof of full vaccination (vaccination card, digital record, or printed record). You can read about Chicago’s vaccine requirements here.
We also encourage you to take a Covid-19 test prior to attending the event.
Covid test centers are available around Chicago. For more information please click here. You may be able to receive a free test in your home state, so we would advise you to check this before you travel.
During the event
If you experience any symptoms of a potential Covid-19 infection, we request that you do not attend the event. Your in-person ticket automatically provides full access to the online version of Food as Medicine: Chicago 2022.
As of February 2022, the wearing of face coverings in indoor public spaces and workplaces is mandatory in Chicago.
In and around Chicago during the event
We recommend that you carry your proof of vaccination with you at all times. If you do not have proof of vaccination, you may be refused entry into establishments in Chicago. For further information and up to date requirements, we recommend that you contact a venue before you visit. You should be prepared to be asked to wear a face covering if you are not already doing so.
In general – getting vaccinated, wearing a mask, and testing for Covid-19 if you are exposed, is strongly encouraged.
Attendee Options
Holders of in-person tickets can attend the event at any time subject to the Covid-19 protocols.
Online ticket holders can upgrade to in-person for a fee.
In-person ticket holders automatically have full access to the online version of Food as Medicine: Chicago 2022.
If you are unable to attend Food as Medicine: Chicago 2022 due to Covid-19, please contact alison@greygreenmedia.com.
We will arrange to refund the difference between an in-person and online ticket, once we receive proof of your positive Covid test.
These protocols apply to in-person ticket holders, and are based upon the local and national guidelines published on 8th February 2022. These protocols will only change should there be a change to local or national requirements.
